Fabiano de Andrade Correa
Fabiano de Andrade Correa is a Brazilian lawyer and international consultant in the field of law and sustainable development. He holds a Ph.D. and a LL.M. in international law from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, where he wrote a thesis focused on the implementation of sustainable development on regional trade agreements. Mr. de Andrade Correa has a broad range of professional experiences, currently serving as Program Coordinator with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), in Rome; having also practiced law with a leading Brazilian firm and clerked for a Judge at the Court of Justice of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He has authored several publications in this field, and is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association; the International Law Association, serving as alternate representative of Brazil in the Committee on International Law and Sustainable Natural Resources Management; the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law; and is an Associate Fellow with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL). He holds a law degree (LL.B., UFRGS, Brazil), and a Master’s degree on international relations (Escuela Diplomática/Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain).
