Kim Kampel

International Consultant

Kim Kampel is a South African lawyer, currently working as an international consultant. She formerly worked as a trade negotiator for the South African government for nine years, during which time she served as economic counsellor in the trade section at the South African Permanent Mission in Geneva.  Before joining the South African Trade Ministry, she worked at the South African Competition Tribunal where she published numerous papers and articles on the genesis and development of competition law and policy in a developing country context. Prior to that, she practised as an attorney in the private sector.
