Rishabh Kumar Dhir

PhD Candidate, Graduate Institute Geneva

Rishabh Kumar Dhir is studying towards a PhD in Development Studies at the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He is also currently a Research Fellow at the Agrarian Studies Program, Yale University for 2012-13. He earned a Double Degree in Global Studies as part of the Erasmus Mundus Masters at the University of Leipzig’s Global and European Studies Institute in Germany. Also, he earned a Master in Science in Global History from the Department of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. He worked as Research Intern for the WWF’s Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in India, as Research Intern for the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information in India. Also, he freelanced for Movie Arte, a film making school in New Delhi. During his undergraduate studies, he was Editor of “Echoes” a History Department Journal, President of the English Dramatics Society and Active Member of the English Debating Society and the Indian Music Society. Mr. Dhir is citizen of India.
