II. An assessment of SALs and the enhanced HIPC from an SHD initiatives: perspective
(30/36 countries eligible for HIPC are in Sub-Saharan Africa; in a shift from stabilization and growth to poverty reduction, the IMF has renamed the Enhanced Structural Adjustment Facility (ESAF) the ‘Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility).
