“The aim of the
China National Workshop on Environmental Goods and Services was to
assist China in the identification of specific environmental goods
and services of its export and import interest on the basis of its
sustainable development needs and priorities. The identification exercise
was based on a multi-stakeholder national consultation process and
seeks to respond to the ongoing WTO negotiations on EGS under Para
31 (iii) of the Doha Ministerial Declaration.”
