Description
At a time of rapid and critical changes
in technology, markets and environmental and social conditions
affecting agriculture, the objective of the Dialogue is to explore
underlying causes and prospects for sustainability.
The Dialogue will be organized in
three sessions. The first session will discuss the Doha Round
and the international framework for agricultural policies. The
second session will address questions related to changes in the
structure of global agricultural production and demand. The third
session will focus on agriculture, climate change and sustainable
development.
