Geneva WTO Ministerial Conference 1998

The Second WTO Ministerial Conference was held in Geneva, Switzerland between 18 and 20 May 1998.

19 May- WORKSHOP - NGO/WTO Contact Group Consultation
The NGOs Contact Group produced a document on "mechanism for public access and participation to WTO trade policy making".The meeting was convened to discuss the idea of establishing a Contact Group between civil society and WTO. in the follow up of the meeting, the group produced a statement that was submitted to the WTO.
