Andrew Aziz is Communications Director at the Pembina Institute. He oversees the institute's planning and strategy, media relations, audience engagement, and the development and delivery of research publications and online resources.

Andrew has extensive background in national and international public policy communications covering a wide range of crosscutting issues including climate change, clean energy, sustainable development, trade and investment, and natural resources extraction.
 
Previously, he has worked for organizations including the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.
 
Andrew has a master’s degree in journalism from Carleton University and an undergraduate degree in international development studies and East Asian studies from York University.
