Chizuko Hayakawa:is Professor of Labour and Employment Law, Faculty of Economics, Saga University, Japan. Ph.D. (Law) from University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2006. Her research focuses on Japan’s foreign worker policies. She has written extensively on immigration policy and integration policy with regard to foreign workers. She published a book “GAIKOKUJIN RODO NO HOSEISAKU” [Law and Policy on Foreign Workers] (Shinzansha, 2008). She is also the author of “GAIKOKUJIN RODOSHA TO HO” (Foreign Workers and the Law] (Shinzansha, upcoming, 2018).
