Clarisse Morgan

Senior Counsellor, World Trade Organization

Clarisse Morgan is a Senior Counsellor in the Rules Division of the WTO. Ms Morgan has been the Deputy Secretary of the WTO Negotiating Group on Rules since 2002. She also served as Secretary of the WTO Committee on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (SCM) from 1999 through 2002, and from 2012 through 2016; as Secretary of the WTO Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices from 2004 through 2008; and Secretary of the WTO Committee on Safeguards from 1995 to 1999. Prior to joining the WTO, Ms Morgan was a private economic consultant in Washington D.C. for 14 years. Ms Morgan has a degree in International Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from George Washington University. Ms Morgan is a national of the United States.
