Economic Affairs Officer, World Trade Organization
Fabrizio Meliado is an Economic Affairs Officer with the World Trade Organization. Prior to joining the WTO, he was a PhD fellow in International Law and Economics, Bocconi University, and an independent trade policy consultant. Over the past decade he has conducted several consultancy assignments, mostly on behalf of international governmental institutions. Dr Meliado has authored or co-authored numerous papers, particularly on the interaction between trade policy and sustainable development. He has lectured and conducted workshops on trade law and policy in the context of both academic and policy-oriented technical assistance and training activities. Besides a PhD in International Law and Economics (Bocconi University, Milan, 2017), he has a Masters of International Law and Economics awarded by the World Trade Institute (University of Bern, 2010), and a Master of Political Science and International Law (University of Messina, 2005).
