Jessica Wan is currently at the Gender, Equality, and Diversity branch of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva. She is working on the “Promoting Rights, Diversity and Equality (PRIDE) in the World of Work” project in addition to the ILO’s centenary initiative on “Women at Work” on the care economy.
She has been a consultant to the IFRC on gender-based violence in humanitarian settings. Previously, she was an intern at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) Programme on Competitiveness and Development in Geneva.
Jessica obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Oxford in Development Studies. She has published her Master’s thesis in the peer-reviewed journal, Extractive Industries and Society.
