Joy Aeree Kim holds a doctoral degree from the University of East Anglia in the UK. Kim is a policy analyst in the field of economics, trade and environmental policies and is currently a programme officer with UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Before joining UNEP, she worked as a senior policy analyst at the Environment, as well as the Trade and Agriculture, Directorates of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and as a researcher at the UN University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) in Tokyo, at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, and at Harvard Kennedy School of Government
