Khalid El Bernoussi

An economist and expert consultant on trade and development. He worked in the Permanent Mission of Morocco to the United Nations in Geneva in particular during its coordination of the WTO African Group in 2013 in trade facilitation negotiations and preparation for the 9th WTO Ministerial Conference in Bali. He also worked with International Organizations, notably with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), on the elaboration of a study on the theme of “International Transport and Trade Facilitation in North Africa: Opportunities and Implications”, as well as with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), as part of the pursuit of the “Hub & Spokes II” programme, for strengthening trade capacity in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries. He holds a PhD in economics from the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, and a Master in banking and finance from the University Paris West Nanterre La Défense.
