Monica Guise Rosina

Law Professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo

Mônica Steffen Guise Rosina is a Law Professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, where she also coordinates the Law and Innovation Research Group. Mônica holds a Ph.D. in International  and Comparative Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), where she wrote a dissertation on Patents, Pharmaceuticals and Access to Knowledge. She holds an L.L.M. in Law and International Relations from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and a Degree on Industrial Property from the University of Buenos Aires. For the past couple of years, Mrs. Rosina has been teaching and conducting research in the fields of Intellectual Property and Development, Fashion Law, International Trade Law and Legal Research Methodology. From 2006 to 2008 Mônica was happy to be part of ICTSD's team, when she worked as a local editor for Pontes.
