Nicola Borregaard is currently Head of the Division of Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Energy of Chile. Between 2011 and 2014 she was Head of Energy and Climate Change at Fundación Chile. She was the former Executive Director of CIPMA, Centro de Investigación y Planificación del Medio Ambiente, and Co-Founder and Director of RIDES NGO. Between 2005-2008 she was Director of the National Energy Efficiency Program of the Chilean Government. Her experience includes working as Advisor to different Ministers of Economy and Energy, and work for the Chilean National Commission on Environment. Nicola Borregaard was a Member of the Presidential Commission on Energy (2012), Member of the Presidential Commission on Urban Development (2013), and Member of the Advisory Council to the Ministry of Environment (2010-2014). Nicola holds a PhD in Land Economy from Cambridge University, England.
