Pedro Mendonça Cavalcante is a career diplomat. Currently at the Trade in Services Division, Mr. Cavalcante is the desk for investment agreement negotiations at the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations. He has been directly involved in the drafting and negotiation of the new Brazilian IIA model (Cooperation and Facilitation Investment Agreement-CFIA) since its conception.
