Salim Ismail

Group Chairman and CEO, Groupe Socota

Salim Ismail is the Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Socota, Mauritius.

He holds a Degree in Engineering from ENSIT, Mulhouse, as well as an MBA from the Graduate Business School, Sorbonne, Paris. Mr Ismail has extensive experience in the textile and apparel industry, shrimp fishing and the farming industry. He is a former Vice-President of the African Industrial Association as well as a former Member of the Board of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation.
