Sarah Jane Danchie has undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of London. She has worked in a number of organizations, including the Commonwealth Secretariat (Economic Affairs Division) and the United Nations Development Program (Ghana Country Office), where she worked on economic research and analysis. She has also worked on program design, planning, and administration at national and international levels on an array of development issues ranging from economic management, trade, and debt to climate change for developing, transition, and emerging economies in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
