Sofía Alicia Baliño

Sofía Alicia Baliño is the Senior Editor of Bridges Weekly Trade News Digest, having joined ICTSD in 2011. She has a Master of Public Policy concentrating in Global Policy from Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, as well as a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the Université de Genève. Ms. Baliño previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from the College of William and Mary, and completed an intensive, graduate-level course on all aspects of book, magazine, and online publishing at Columbia University in New York City. During her time at William and Mary, she was granted the James Monroe Scholar Award and the William and Mary Scholars Award for academic merit. She has also worked at DC-based environmental non-profits.

Ms. Baliño is a dual citizen of the United States of America and Spain.
